Three-Dimensionally Porous Li-Ion and Li-S Battery Cathodes: A Mini Review for Preparation Methods and Energy-Storage Performance

摘要: Among many types of batteries, Li-ion and Li-S batteries have been great interest because their high energy density, low self-discharge, non-memory effect, among other aspects. Emerging applications require with higher performance factors, such as capacity cycling life, which motivated research efforts on constructing high-performance anode cathode materials. Herein, recent about materials are particularly focused on. Low electron ion conductivities poor electrode stability remain challenges. Three-dimensional (3D) porous nanostructures commonly exhibit unique properties, good Li+ diffusion, short transfer pathway, robust mechanical strength, sufficient space for volume change accommodation during charge/discharge, make them promising cathodes in batteries. A comprehensive summary some cutting-edge investigations battery is presented. As demonstrative examples, LiCoO2, LiMn2O4, LiFePO4, V2O5, LiNi1−x−yCoxMnyO2 pristine modified forms a 3D structure introduced, particular focus preparation methods. Additionally, S loaded scaffolds discussed.
