Femtosecond pulse duration measurement by two-photon fluorescence detection

摘要: The two-photon absorption induced fluorescence in a methanolic rhodamine 6G solution is used to measure the pulse duration of cw femtosecond Kerr–lens mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser by Michelson-interferometer-type autocorrelator arrangement. Interference-free autocorrelation traces are obtained correlating perpendicular polarized pulses. polarization parameter determined contrast ratio measurement. time resolution limits discussed.
