摘要: Studies on oxidative stress (OS) in crustacea are widely used as ecotoxicological indices to assess the environment risk produced by impact of several stressor and pollutants. In present study, effects seasonality OS physiology markers such antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase reductase), small molecules (ascorbic acid reduced glutathione), (lipid peroxidation, protein carbonylation hydrogen peroxide) total capacity hepatopancreas, gills abdominal muscle adult mud crab Scylla serrata, sampled from Chilika lagoon India, were determined winter, summer rainy seasons. Results indicate that variations enzymatic non-enzymatic antioxidants with relation season not only tissue specific but also gender specific. The levels parameters higher hepatopancreas comparison crabs all tissues mainly when temperature salinity high low oxygen content. Although was lower winter moderate male crabs, it females season. Correlation analyses between hydrological (temperature, dissolved content) suggest abiotic factors influence and, thereby status a sex manner. Collectively, results work further investigation is warranted before using S. serrata biomarkers monitor estuarine these influenced gender,
