摘要: A lubricant composition having an enhanced thermal conductivity, up to 80% greater than its conventional analogues, and methods of preparation for these fluids are identified. One preferred contains a base oil, nanomaterial, dispersing agent or surfactant the purpose stabilizing nanomaterial. nanomaterial is high conductivity graphite, exceeding 80 W/m in conductivity. The graphite ground, milled, naturally prepared obtain mean particle size less 500 nm diameter, preferably 100 nm, most 50 nm. dispersed fluid by one more various methods, including ultrasonication, milling, chemical dispersion. Carbon nanostructures such as nanotubes, nanofibrils, nanoparticles another type graphitic structure useful present invention. Other carbon materials also acceptable. To confer long-term stability, use dispersants surfactants useful. enhancement, compared without proportional amount nanomaterials added. contribute overall viscosity, partly completely eliminating need viscosity index improvers providing very index. Particle chemistry controlled get desired combination increase from oil while controlling temporary loss shear fields. resulting have unique properties due suspended particles, well their small size.
