ω-LixV2O5 — a new electrode material for rechargeable lithium batteries

摘要: Abstract The electrochemical intercalation of lithium in V 2 O 5 down to a voltage smaller than 1.9 leads irreversibly the formation new material, ω-Li x ( ∼ 3), that exhibits very good behavior. structural framework characteristic is maintained during deintercalation, as shown by occurrence solid solution and reversibility process. This material can also be obtained reaction with an excess n -butyllithium. Its X-ray diffraction pattern disordered structure, nevertheless few broad lines remain are, furthermore, independent amount intercalation. specific energy related high: 450 W h kg −1 after 100 cycles 1.9–3.4 range under 180 μA cm −2 . Moreover, this value considerably increased if cycling domain extended (800 between 4 V).
