摘要: We examine the implications of climate change for fishery governance using seven international case studies in low, mid and high latitudes, including eastern Australia, western Pacific Ocean, Alaska, west coast United States, Hawaii, Canada France. Climate adds uncertainty about fish stock productivity, migratory patterns, trophic interactions vulnerability populations to fishing pressure. Fishery has address additional from both system being governed systems. The reveal issues that indicate adaptation will involve more flexible management regimes, schemes capacity adjustment, catch limitation alternative livelihoods fishers. Where systems have been less developed, fisheries are able adapt impacts. Adaptation involves addressing some most intractable allocation management. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
