摘要: We present a theoretical delay-time distribution (DTD) of Type Ia supernovae on the basis our new evolutionary models single-degenerate (SD) progenitor systems. Our model DTD has almost featureless power law shape (∝t−n with n ≈ 1) for delay time from t ~ 0.1 to 10 Gyr. This is in good agreement recent direct measurement DTDs. The observed property been suggested be favorable double-degenerate (DD) scenario but not SD scenario. If mass range companion star white dwarf (WD) were too narrow model, its would limited around companion's main-sequence lifetime consistent DTD. However, this case that consists two channels WD+RG (red giant) and WD+MS (main-sequence star). In these channels, stars have ~0.9-3 M☉ (WD+RG) ~2-6 (WD+MS). combined wide enough yield emphasize should include important processes: optically thick winds mass-accreting WD mass-stripping by wind.
