摘要: Traditional association mechanism in IEEE 802.11 is the form of one-to-many. It indicates that an access point (AP) can associate with many clients at same time, while one client capable to be associated only AP a time. Such policy inefficient and inflexible context wireless mesh network (WMN). In this paper, we propose many-to-many scheme called Multiple ASSociation (MASS) for WMN. The MASS allows Mesh Client (MC) multiple APs (MAPs) simultaneously. most appropriate MAP selected adaptively from group MAPs actually serve MC based on its correspondence node. Consequently, when communicates different nodes, probably distinct are employed forward packets. protocol compatible current standards does not need any modification MC. We conduct extensive experiments which demonstrate effectiveness flexibility proposed scheme.
