摘要: The problem of fitting spline surfaces to triangular mesh models is importance in computer-aided design. Many algorithms have been developed. This paper proposes several novel plug-and-play components or strategies: the use T-splines for fitting, a curvature-guided strategy, faithful re-parameterization and initial knot re-placement, which can be used enhance algorithms. We also present an adaptive T-spline algorithm integrating these strategies. Extensive experiments conducted demonstrate components. Our generate that well respect geometrical features input more compact representation.
