摘要: A study on the species composition and abundance of small mammals was carried out in Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve (AHFR), Puchong, Selangor. total oj 1120 trapping-hours recorded 14 which belonged to 11 genera From five families three orders. The taxa comprised six murids, Jour sciurids, insectivores one primate. 32 indiciduals smalls were captured. this, 17 individuals or 53% rats, 9 (28 %) squirrels, 4 tree shrews (13 1 individual each (3 Jor both primate gymnures. order Rodentia (rats squirrels) main group area, with a capture 82% 26 individuals.
