摘要: Omentin is a recently identified adipose tissue-derived cytokine and implicated in obesity-related cardiovascular disorders. In the present study, we tested hypothesis that omentin could directly affect vascular reactivity of isolated blood vessels. endothelium-intact rat aorta, pretreatment with (300 ng/ml, 30 min) inhibited noradrenaline (NA; 1 nM-1 microM)-induced concentration-dependent contraction. NA (100 nM)-pre-contracted (1-300 ng/ml) induced an endothelium-dependent relaxation. While nitric oxide (NO) synthase (NOS) inhibitor, N(G)-nitro-l-arginine methyl ester microM, relaxation, PI3K/Akt LY294002 (10 or tyrosine kinase genistein (30 was ineffective. 5 phosphorylation endothelial NOS at serine 1177 but not Akt 473. also relaxed pre-contracted mesenteric artery. Present study for first time demonstrated has vasodilating effect on vessels, which mediated through endothelium-derived NO.
