摘要: Laboratory experiments were conducted to determine the role of learning in olfactory host searching by ichneumonid pupal parasitoid, Pimpla luctuosa Smith. Females learned associate novel odors such as vanilla and strawberry with hosts when they oviposited at least several odors. Repeated experiences an odor increased response experienced odor, females that had seven times responded 90% time. Although a gradually decreased increasing host-deprivation time, 60% 7 days earlier still odor. also two separate associated time both without preference for one over other. When trained hosts, second more quickly than first After stings “simulated hosts” previously ceased respond suggesting repeated unrewarding cause cease
