摘要: Abstract The emission and absorption spectra of Er3+ ions in Er2O3 powder are investigated at room temperature. crystal field splitting 4I15/2, 4I13/2, 4I9/2 4S3/2 multiplets was calculated using a parameterized Hamiltonian including terms. A final standard deviation 5.3 cm−1 is obtained between 22 experimental Stark. strength parameters compared to those erbium doped Y2O3 single crystal. In addition, the location ground first excited states determined. 4I15/2 state located 12750 cm−1 below valence band edge. 4I13/2 4I11/2 set resonance with band. configuration coordinate diagram proposed for powder.
