摘要: Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), the most abundant infiltrating immune cells in tumor microenvironment, have distinct functions hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression. CD68⁺ TAMs represent multiple polarized mainly containing CD86⁺ antitumoral M1 and CD206⁺ protumoral M2 macrophages. expression density were assessed by immunohistochemical staining of CD68, CD86, CD206 tissue microarrays from 253 HCC patients. Clinicopathologic features prognostic value these markers evaluated. We found that not associated with clinicopathologic characteristics prognosis HCC. Low presence high markedly correlated aggressive phenotypes, such as number advanced tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage; poor overall survival (OS) (p = 0.027 p 0.024, respectively) increased time to recurrence (TTR) 0.037 0.031, respectively). In addition, combined analysis CD86 provided a better indicator for OS 0.011) TTR 0.024) than individual CD206. Moreover, CD86⁺/CD206⁺ predictive model also had significant α-fetoprotein (AFP)-negative patients (OS: 0.002, TTR: 0.005). Thus, results suggest biomarkers could be promising biomarker.
