摘要: The relationships between morphology and mechanical properties in polyamide 6/bisphenol-A polycarbonate blends have been investigated by means of Scanning Electron Microscopy tensile tests. immiscibility the two polymers gives rise to biphasic which constitutes matrix when its concentration is higher than 35 wt %. controlled thermal rheological characteristics, as well mixing conditions. In general, adhesion at interface phases absent. Moreover, polycarbonate-rich can be considered with holes. As a consequence, are mechanically much weaker pure components both terms Young's modulus strength, break. Blends very rich polyamide, more 90% weight, behave differently, probably because chemical, interchain interactions. This reflected positively impact behavior, was improved this composition range.
