The overall objective study is to determine magnitude soil erosion and sediment delivery as result storm runoff. suggest that region more rapid extensive than previously thought. Fields at site are experiencing accelerated loss, with rates often comparable those southeastern Piedmont, long recognized having problematic loss. casts doubt some assessments plain being stable, non-eroding landscape. However, much mobilized redistributed stored within watershed only portion eroded from slopes leaving an event time frame. Copyright 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
