摘要: A method and apparatus for serializing access to disk arrays shareable among a plurality of RAID control units at substantial reduction in intercontrol unit communication by (a) defining lock function over the parity image blocks each drives shared array; (b) executing path expression accessing unit, includes requesting from drive on enforcing busy-wait until is granted, function, then releasing lock.
