摘要: The introduction of time-resolved measurements in the femtosecond time-scale using velocity map imaging techniques charged particles (ions and photoelectrons) combination with resonant multiphoton ionization fragments for study photodissociation dynamics small polyatomic molecules is reviewed. A typical experiment consists measurement a sequence images, whose analysis requires most cases sophisticated multidimensional fitting methods to extract all relevant information contained images. In particular, application these direct (A band) electronic predissociation (B methyl iodide along detection characterization transient species cluster dissociation, as case example imaging, are presented discussed.
