摘要: We describe an extremely simple paradigm that we have used to explore the graphic qualities of recursive forms, forms developed by recursively replicating a motif. Our emphasis is on form exploration, as opposed generation, which has been focus related work in this area. In spite simplicity paradigm, enormous Variety and phenomena can be explored with it, including spirals, branching structures, plane symmetries tilings, "reptiles", iterated function systems, space-filling curves, "squigs", meanders, textures, phylotaxis organic forms. The components method are representation for 2 1/2-dimensional algorithm drawing them, "hands-on" performing affine transformations, guiding principle interaction. synthesis these yields tool exploration not merely quantitatively, but qualitatively better than reported date. This effectively personal computers, yet it scales well take advantage more computing power when available. CR
