Magnetic effects on the Chern Kondo insulator

摘要: We examine the Chern Kondo insulator proposed in a square optical lattice with staggered flux induced by $s\text{\ensuremath{-}}p$ orbital hybridization revisiting its realization and taking into account magnetic effects for phases. The Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yoshida interaction is analyzed at weak regime, anisotropic being discussed. Furthermore, paramagnetic phases coexisting couplings are systematically investigated through slave-boson theory, which rich on phase obtained, including antiferromagnetic, collinear antiferromagnetic insulator, metal orders shown to enhance effective compared case without effects, exhibit different influences bulk topology. In particular, ordering always enhances topological increasing gap of results show obtained present model. also investigate how identify topology strong correlation measuring Hall conductance double occupancy, achievable ultracold atom experiments.
