摘要: Although the need for integration of mental health services into primary care is well established little has been done. The outbreak recession found Greek system in transition. As a response to crisis, governments implemented horizontal budget cuts instead reforms. This resulted an unfavorable situation which was set once again on sidelines policy agenda. Previous studies suggest that most prevalent disorders years financial crisis Greece are depression and anxiety while general increase psychiatric morbidity observed does not follow population’ needs. present descriptive study carried out between March June 2015. A convenience sample 174 psychiatrists psychiatry residents who met inclusion criteria were finally selected participate. Data collected by using 40-items questionnaire consisted three sections: (a) nine questions about demographics, (b) pertaining aspects administrative regulations related care, (c) 22 attitudes perceptions towards their role care. Quantitative variables expressed as mean values, qualitative absolute relative frequencies. vast majority participants perceives public community inadequate considers psychiatrists’ participation important order improve detection management rates people demonstrating symptoms. They also believe that: practitioners’ usually fail detect conditions patients; will decrease social stigmatization conditions; patients receiving pharmaceutical treatment problems GPs other professionals comply. Respondents receptive participate result decreased problems, increased patient’ access improved common conditions.
