摘要: There are a number of components that essential to the operation clinical FES service. Firstly we believe is part treatment package and cannot be delivered by simple provision stand alone device enabling patient treat their own stroke, MS etc. Therefore trained staff required deliver service in our experience this works best if team therapists engineers working closely together. Secondly equipment has designed manufactured withstand rigours everyday life reliability essential. Constant support education also problems inevitably arise must solved promptly. Patient selection crucial. Finally data recorded stored structured way (in Salisbury have 1104 patients on database see 30 per week) quantify efficacy determine design criteria for next generation devices.
