摘要: Quaternized poly(propylene imine) dendrimers have been prepared and investigated for their ability to function as pH-responsive controlled-release systems. These functionalized are able solubilize pyrene due charge transfer complexation between the probe tertiary amino groups of dendrimeric branches. The introduction quaternary ammonium at external surface affects protonation titration profile compared parent compounds leading release entrapped within a narrow pH region basically when intermediate nitrogens protonated. properties render these materials promising candidates systems possibly including prospected drug delivery applications.
