摘要: Abstract Plasticity of adult cells has been identified in several post-natal tissues the past few years and attracted special attention regenerative medicine. Skin is biggest organ body. Adult skin consists epidermis, dermis appendages such as hairs glands which are linked to epidermis but project deep into dermal layer. stem cell biology a focus increasing interest current life science. Committed with limited differentiation potential for regeneration repair have known decades. Recent studies further report that contain populations pluripotent characteristics. Multipotent from hair follicle non-follicular skin, both epidermal tissues, found capacity generate multiple lineages. Basing on present data, our hypothesis may serve local reservoir various populations, including committed tissues. Given its easy accessibility, will not only provide an experimental model biology, also studying epithelial–mesenchymal interactions other organs outside skin. The extensive therapeutic implications replacement alternative source situ activation mobilization ideal way renew dermis, even appendages.
