摘要: Exogenously applied GABA modulates root growth by inhibition of elongation when seedlings were grown in vitro on full-strength Murashige and Skoog (MS) salts, but was stimulated 1/8 strength MS salts. When the concentration single ions salts individually varied, control between stimulation found to be related level nitrate (NO(3)(-)) medium. At NO(3)(-) concentrations below 40 mM (full-strength level), addition medium; whereas at above NO(3)(-), medium inhibited elongation. promoted uptake low while high NO(3)(-). Activities several enzymes involved nitrogen carbon metabolism including reductase (NR), glutamine synthetase (GS), glutamate synthase (NADH-GOGAT), NADP-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase (NADP-ICDH), phosphoenol pyruvate carboxylase (PEPCase) regulated Supplementing with 50 enhanced activities all except ICDH tissues. However, MS, showed no inhibitory effect these enzymes, GS both shoot tissues, PEPCase activity Exogenous increased amount NR protein rather than its activation status This study shows that affects Arabidopsis, possibly acting as a signaling molecule, modulating primary uptake.
