摘要: Knowledge of the breadth, nature, and volume traumatic brain injury (TBI) spinal cord (SCI) research can aid in planning. This study aimed to provide an overview existing TBI SCI inform identification knowledge translation (KT), systematic review (SR), primary opportunities. Topics relevant articles from three large neurotrauma evidence resources were synthesized: Global Evidence Mapping (GEM) Initiative (129 topics 1644 articles), Acquired Brain Injury Evidence-Based Review (ERABI; 152 732 Spinal Cord Rehabilitation (SCIRE) Project (297 1650 articles). A de-duplicated dataset SRs, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), other studies identified by these projects was created. In all, 145 (66 79 SCI), yielding 3466 (1256 2210 SCI). with KT potential included cognitive therapies for prevention/management urinary tract problems post-SCI, which accounted 17% 18%, respectively, yield. that may require SR management raised intracranial pressure TBI, ventilation intermittent positive interventions following SCI. be needed pharmacological neurological recovery post-TBI, sleep-disordered breathing post-SCI. There a larger non-intervention (epidemiological) than TBI. comprehensive funding agencies, researchers, clinicians, stakeholders prioritizing planning research.
