摘要: The main focus in genomic research is starting to shift from structural genomics functional and proteomics, which deal with the function of genes their products. Each cell expresses different sets at levels as result situations such development, environmental influences, disease. physiological pathological situation can thus be characterized by a specific set gene transcripts (transcriptome) protein products (proteome). To identify transcriptomes Menkes disease, we have employed differential display (DD) mRNA, technique displays mRNA species expressed population that used detect differences expression between types or under altered conditions (1). primary defect disease cellular export ATP7A, several copper enzymes are affected secondarily (2). Alhough predict role some development multisystemic it likely other enzymes/proteins also contribute progression.
