摘要: Occurrence models that account for imperfect detection of species are increasingly used estimating geographical range, determining species-landscape relations and to prioritize conservation actions worldwide. In 2010, we conducted a large-scale survey in Rio Muni, the mainland territory Equatorial Guinea, which aimed estimate probabilities occurrence threatened mammals based on environmental covariates, identify priority areas conservation. Interviews with hunters were designed record presence/absence data seven (golden cat, leopard, forest elephant, buffalo, western gorilla, chimpanzee mandrill) 225 sites throughout region. We fitted single season occupancy recently developed also include false positive errors (i.e. detected places where it actually does not occur), should provide more accurate estimates most species, susceptible mis-identification. Golden cat leopard had lowest rates region, whereas primates highest rates. All except affected negatively by human settlements. The southern half Muni showed studied, strategies ensuring persistence be focused this area.
