On Unemployment Insurance and Experience Rating

摘要: There have been numerous studies, both theoretical and empirical, dealing with how the degree of experience rating affects employment. The results often contradicting, giving ground for ongoing debate among economists. Here in this thesis I will present most central studies done concerning effects on employment induced by layoff costs UI payroll tax particular. A special interest be put implicit-contract model, since it appears to especially useful when studying rating. approaches existing empirical evidence discussed. By doing survey make an attempt explaining summarizing crucial sometimes contradicting conclusions made though years, so that a reader unfamiliar those concepts able easily grasp.
