摘要: The plant species present on Otamahua/Quai l Island 1976-1999 are grouped according to origin, specifically identifying indigenous and introduced taxa. known vascular flora for this period consists of 357 species. Taxa believed be descended from ancestors truly the island include 7 tree species, 18 shrubs, vines, 28 monocotyledon 49 dicotyledon herbs, 12 ferns. Additional taxa Banks Peninsula region, planted up beginning 1998, 8 3 shrubs 1 large herb. A further 10 tree, 2 shrub, 4 vine provenance were during 1998 1999. Planted New Zealand, but not Peninsula, small trees shrub. Among foreign Zealand that have been island, or otherwise immigrated accidentally through human agency, by natural means, 29 19 46 herbs (mostly grasses), 120 Localities, habitats relative abundance noted each There appear losses some since 1976 (some deliberate removal).
