摘要: Quantifying the effects of multiple stressors on Alpine freshwater ecosystems is challenging, due to lack tailored field campaigns for contemporaneous measurement hydrological, chemical and ecological parameters. Conducting exhaustive costly hence most activities so far have been performed addressing specific environmental issues. An accurate analysis existing information therefore useful necessary, identify that may act in synergy design new campaigns. We present an extended review available studies datasets concerning status Adige, which second longest river third largest basin Italy. The relevant are discussed light extracted from a large number studies. detailed these identified hydrological alterations caused by hydropower production main source stress Adige catchment. However, concurrent with other stressors, such as release pollutants waste water treatment plants or agricultural industrial activities, not explored at depth, far. A wealth address single stressor separately without exploring their effect. It concluded combination experimental campaigns, focusing coupled modeling highly needed order quantify impact multifaceted human pressures river.
