First in Human Transapical Implantation of an Inverted Transcatheter Aortic Valve Prosthesis to Treat Native Mitral Valve Stenosis

摘要: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation has become well established in the past decade. Its superiority comparison with conventional surgical replacements high-risk patients been demonstrated Partner Cohort B trial.1 We report first case of using an inverted transcatheter Edwards Sapien (Edwards Lifesciences, CA) native mitral position, to treat severe calcific stenosis.
