摘要: Abstract Many diagnostic tests require the determination of cut-off values that discriminate uninfected from infected individuals. The a serodiagnostic test were calculated to minimize total cost misdiagnoses. Three different assumptions made about density distributions and populations which was be applied: (1) population identical sample distributions; (2) both normally distributed; (3) may not normal but follow other are used commonly. using each assumption varied considerably. This indicates accurate estimations required determine optimum values. There is often insufficient information estimate adequately. Decisions regarding should reviewed as more data become available.
