摘要: Abstract Chemical-looping combustion (CLC) is very promising with thanks to its efficient and low cost CO 2 capture. For calcium sulfate (CaSO 4 ) oxygen carrier, sulfur dioxide (SO emission in CLC process limits practical application. In this study, Fe O 3 /CaSO composite carriers different loading contents were prepared using impregnation method natural anhydrite as active support additive. Experiments on the evaluation of their capacities inhibit SO release enhance reactivity CaSO conducted a laboratory scale fixed-bed reactor under CO–H –N atmosphere. The effects temperature content performance investigated terms fuel conversion inhibition efficiency. could intensify reduction CaS raise sulfide yield, over 85% released from decomposition alone was inhibited by higher than 5 wt% at 950 °C. Temperature had pronounced positive effect enhancement , H obtained content. Redox cyclic tests showed that carrier keep better recyclability stability . content, ability possess. Overall, results show displays aspect be good candidate CLC.
