摘要: In reply Garcia and Gilman make some very good points about the selection biases inherent in hospital retrospective studies. I do not have enough knowledge primary data on this subject to hold a strong opinion. If are right that natural history of cysticercosis is much more benign than portrayed if uncertainty remains efficacy therapy, then randomized, controlled clinical trial would, indeed, be preferable. One would want sure, however, firm stopping rules were place regular monitoring by safety committee assure patients being harmed study go beyond point reasonable certainty therapeutic effect.
