摘要: Abstract In a chloroquine-resistant Plasmodium falciparum endemic area of Hainan Island, China, 1·0 g oral mefloquine produced radical cure in 47 48 semi-immune patients. A comparison between patients treated with and qinghaosu showed more rapid clearance parasitaemia (68·2±21·4 h vs 103·1±18·0 h) greater inhibition in-vivo trophozoite development. An advantage is the effectiveness single dose, whereas advantages are speed onset action inhibitory effect on parasite maturation.
