摘要: Abstract Results of experiments performed to isolate the effect surface roughness generated during slurry erosion-corrosion 304L stainless steel are presented. Surfaces prepared by grinding different finishes show that increasing lowers pitting potential in chloride solution. Subsequent erosion an aqueous sand then alters this (Ep), as measured solution phase alone, a manner dependent on initial roughness. which were initially rougher pronounced rise p after erosion, while those with smoother finish fall Ep erosion. Measurement does not fit either process, values lower than predicted from alone.
