摘要: We are developing a MR insert PET detector using SiPM for small animal imaging. Our design is based on the strip-line signal readout that we have developed to efficiently handle large amount signals SiPM-based TOF PET. The stripline has an advantageous feature suitable building integrated within MR. In readout, digitization accomplished remotely from detection module, thereby front-end electronics of minimal; interference between two systems, e.g., magnetic field distortion due PET, can be minimized accordingly. feasibility PET/MR been demonstrated in our previous study. current prototype comprised 8 modules, which installed plastic cylindrical supporting structure. Each module consists 8x4 LYSO arrays (3x3x10 mm3each) and Hamamatsu S13361–3050NE-04 MPPC (4x4, 3.2 mm pitch); 32 routed 4 strip-lines so LYSO/SiPM row connected each strip-line. fed 72-ch multi-voltage threshold (MVT) digitizer, digitizes input by TDCs implemented FPGA. Experiments carried out evaluate performance, image reconstruction also performed simple shape object. paper, detail development explained, preliminary test results presented.
