摘要: The relationship of health and labor supply has been receiving increased interest by economists, as evidenced the recent addition a chapter on market to Handbook Labor Economics (Curie & Madrian, 1999). Empirical research suggested that status plays an important role in explaining variety economic phenomena, such earnings differentials (Chirikos Nestel, 1985; Luft, 1973, retirement decisions (Mitchell Anderson, 1989) AFDC participation (Wolfe 62 Hill, 1995). Furthermore, failure control adequately for is likely bias estimates wage elasticity supply, because high correlation between rate (Lambrinos, 1981).
