Stability of cocaine hydrochloride solutions at various pH values as determined by high-pressure liquid chromatography

摘要: A stability-indicating assay method based on high-pressure liquid chromatography for the quantitation of cocaine hydrochloride has been developed. The excipients, chlorobutanol, green color and phenol did not interfere with procedure. developed was also used to study stability solutions in water some buffer (phosphate carbonate). below pH 4 hydrolyze when stored at 24°C up 45 days, while hydrolysis very fast above 5.5. catalyzed by OH− HPQ2−4 increase ionic strergth decreased rat hydrolysis.
