摘要: The ability to rapidly locate useful on-line services (e.g. software applications, components, process models, or service organizations), as opposed simply documents, is becoming increasingly critical in many domains. As the sheer number of such increases it will become more important provide tools that allow people (and software) quickly find they need, while minimizing burden for those who wish list their with these search engines. This can be viewed a enabler 'friction-free' markets 'new economy'. Current retrieval technology is, however, seriously deficient this regard. information community has focused on not per se, and result emphasized keyword-based approaches. Those approaches achieve fairly high recall but low precision. agents distributed computing communities have developed simple 'frame-based' 'matchmaking' between tasks increasing precision at substantial cost requiring all modeled frames only supporting perfect matches. paper proposes novel, ontology-based approach employs characteristics process-taxonomy increase without sacrificing computational complexity process.
