摘要: Abstract Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), methoxylated PBDEs (MeO-PBDEs) and hydroxylated (OH-PBDEs) were detected quantified in Brown Bullhead ( Ameiurus nebulosus ) from Lake Ontario. Samples collected 2006 three different locations near the city of Toronto: Frenchman’s Bay, Toronto Island, Tommy Thompson Park. A total 117 plasma samples pooled into 19 samples, separating males females by site capture. Pooled analyzed for 36 PBDEs, 20 MeO-PBDEs OH-PBDEs, but only six five MeO- eight OH-compounds confirmed against standards currently available. These peaks as “identified” peaks, while matching ion ratios not retention time available “unidentified” peaks. Both concentrations combined to obtain a concentration. No significant variations obtained PBDE concentrations, ranging 3.33 9.02 ng g −1 wet weight. However, OH- MeO-PBDE totals ranged over 1 order magnitude among (not – 3.57 ng g weight OH-PBDEs −0.10 ng/g wet MeO-PBDE). The results this study suggested that these compounds are ubiquitous biota. Source estimation freshwater fish discussed. Considering up date no sources or have been reported, found should be mainly related bioaccumulation anthropogenic sources, although other could dismissed.
