摘要: A prototype single-mode fibre-based Fizeau interferometric medical pressure and temperature sensor system using coherence reading signal recovery is demonstrated. These sensors have been designed in such a way that they similar optical path differences hence problems associated with multiplexing are greatly reduced. For the sensor, range to resolution ratio of about 6.7*103:1 an overall measurement accuracy better than +or-1% over 0-360 mmHg achieved. 0.006 degrees C 1% span linearity 27.3-62.5 The performance both meets or exceeds established requirements, dimensions probes compatible commercial electric probes. Hence this new expected be practical approach for many applications.
