摘要: A porous metal coated implant is produced by diffusion bonding powder particles, preferably spherical or flattened particles of commercially pure titanium grade, in the form an insert pad to a substrate, Ti 6Al-4V ELI, prosthesis below beta-transus substrate material, under pressure and temperature non-reactive atmosphere, such as vacuum. The use permits temperatures be reduced approximately 50% melting point material. clamping mechanism for applying components also disclosed.
