摘要: The zero-point of the extragalactic distance scale, defined by about two dozens nearby, late-type galaxies, has remained nearly unchanged for last decade, in spite advent new techniques and great efforts. distances are essentially tied to trigonometric parallax stars hence independent Hyades modulus; they consistent with RR Lyr stars. mean is therefore probably secure better than 10%.
