摘要: We have measured cross sections for the ionization of K shell by electrons with energies from respective thresholds up to 100 keV, Au and Bi. The experimental values are obtained dividing number counts in K? peak an energy interval near tip bremsstrahlung continuum, multiplying this ratio theoretical estimate emission towards detector interval. Although such a procedure has already been described literature, here it is implemented avoiding some simplifications made earlier works. Our sections, which first ones be reported atoms 47$ SRC=http://ej.iop.org/images/0953-4075/47/15/155201/jpb497279ieqn1.gif/> close threshold, reasonable agreement predictions semirelativistic distorted-wave Born approximation. Hippler?s plane-wave approximation corrections Coulomb exchange effects yields that closer data than those evaluated relativistic binary-encounter-Bethe model.
