摘要: The prognosis of patients with metastatic, recurrent, and/or unresectable osteosarcoma is poor. Aggressive local and medical treatments are available for palliation. Palliative include isolated limb perfusion, radiation therapy, embolization, chemoembolization, thermal ablation, cryoablation. Their aim pain relief tumor size reduction minimum complications. We present 19 the pelvis lower lumbar spine treated palliative selective embolization using N-2-butyl cyanoacrylate. All had chemotherapy. At time they experienced severe refractory to analgesics. Diagnostic angiography was performed pre-embolization determine vascular mapping hemodynamic status tumor. Post-embolization done evaluate complete occlusion pathological vessels. Mean follow-up 18 months. Local pain, necrosis size, complications were recorded. In all patients, showed hypervascularity from extensive neovascularization.
