WebODE: a scalable workbench for ontological engineering

摘要: This paper presents WebODE as a workbench for ontological engineering that not only allows the collaborative edition of ontologies at knowledge level, but also provides scalable architecture development other ontology tools and ontology-based applications. First, we will describe model WebODE, which has been mainly extracted improved from reference METHONTOLOGY's intermediate representations. Later, present its architecture, together with main functionalities editor, such import/export service, translation services, browser, inference engine axiom generator, some services have integrated in workbench: WebPicker, OntoMerge OntoCatalogue.
