摘要: Stress can alter adaptive behaviors and also either enhance or diminish learning, memory formation, and/or recall. We focus our studies on how environmentally relevant stressors such as predator detection, crowding, low concentrations of environmental Ca 2+ learning long-term (LTM) formation in the pond snail, Lymnaea stagnalis. specifically operant conditioning aerial respiration whether not LTM forms following acquisition learned event. In addition, we have begun to assay consequences combing different together. Our conclusion so far is that effects combinations are an emergent property thus only be ascertained direct experimentation. examine strain differences allow cause isolated populations possess heritable capabilities, manifested by differing abilities form LTM.
