摘要: The primary objective of this study was to validate the sustainability benchmarking tool (SBT) framework proposed by authors in a previous study. SBT is focused on triple bottom line (TBL) through exhaustive use lean, six-sigma, and life cycle assessment (LCA). During validation, performance value-added wood products’ production assessed improved deployment framework. Strengths weaknesses system were identified within scope bronze frontier maturity level tackled six-step analytical quantitative reasoning methodology. secondary document how products industries can take advantage natural properties become frontiers innovation. In end, true target facility 2.37 base points, while economic environmental increased from being weakness achieving an acceptable index score benchmark 8.41 strength 9.31, respectively. social 2.02 points as function better gender bias ratio. financial 33% loss 46.23% profit post-improvement state. Reductions CO2 emissions (55.16%), energy consumption (50.31%), solid waste generation (72.03%), non-value-added-time (89.30%), cost (64.77%) other significant achievements successfully validated at level, evolved into leaner, cleaner, more responsible version itself. This empirically documents synergies between sustainability, six-sigma concepts outweigh their divergences demonstrates viability
